How To Demolish A Trailer – Step By Step
With the right equipment and experience, mobile home demolition and removal can be done in as little as 5-6 hours! Below are the steps for general mobile home demolition
1.) Obtain all necessary permits prior to beginning demolition
2.) Ensure water, sewer, and electric utilities are all disconnected prior to beginning demolition
3.) Order 2-3 40 cubic yard dumpsters to be dropped on-site before beginning demolition
4.) Begin knocking out the wall structure of the trailer – this is the main support for the mobile home, so it is the easiest way to get it down quick
5.) Pull the roof structure off of the trailer, and begin “grinding” up the material to pack into the dumpsters better
6.) Begin loading the dumpsters with the demolition debris, ensuring you separate all recyclables, etc
7.) When it comes time, flip the trailer over so the frame is exposed and pull the frame off the bottom of the trailer
8.) Have an experienced employee begin cutting up the trailer frame in a safe location. A torch, or carbide-tipped sawzall blades work great for this!
9.) Finish loading all debris into the dumpsters, and have an employee pick up all the small items left behind. Plan on this process to take at least 3-4 hours if the site is to look perfect.
10.) Load up scrap metal to go to the scrap yard, and call the dumpster company for pickup of the dumpsters (Source)

I had two teams come out on two days. Ernesto and Victor came the first day. They were professional and efficient. Juan and the crew came out and knocked out a side yard pile of debris left by a previous tenant. The price was within budget and they came next day. I would definitely recommend these hard working guys for ANY haul needed. I had a MASSIVE hoarder situation left over by a previous tenant and they showed up same day I called and had everything loaded within 3hrs. They were very prompt, professional, and easy to work with. They asked questions and were respectful of my property. They even took the initiative to sweep up after their haul. Hi neighbors. I recently used Bay Hauling to pick up and remove a lot of really big items. If you need to get rid of junk, I highly recommend them. Juan was very nice when I called and was also responsive to texts. They picked up and quickly removed large items (king size mattress and box spring, etc) I filled up half a truck and they collected it all and were gone within an hour. Their prices were fair and the guys were super nice. Plus, they didn’t bang into anything in the house when moving stuff and going around tight corners. Like I said, I recommend them.

I reached out to Bay Hauling last minute and spoke to Juan. He was so kind and very informative. He reassured me that they could have someone pick up my couch asap. They made everything so easy and made it work with my schedule. They were able to pick it up the following day and while I was at work. They kept me in the loop and the team that was going out to remove the couch did notify me when they would show up and how far they were. After they removed it, I was called by a kind woman to follow up with me to make sure everything went well and if there was anything else they could do. She then gave several different ways I could pay them. Venmo was the quickest and easiest way for me. I am so glad that I chose to do business with Bay Hauling. I would highly recommend them.

From booking the appointment until the service was complete, Bay Hauling provided top tier customer service. I originally booked online, but called to ask questions. Brenda assisted me and answered all of my questions. She even got me an earlier time slot for the next day! Juan texted me when he was on his way, showed up about 20 minutes later, and immediately started hauling my items. The entire process, including payment, took less than 30 minutes. I didn’t have a lot of items, and the pricing was reasonable and agreed upon before the work began. If you don’t like the free estimate, you can decline and they’ll leave. They also request pictures when you book which saved me time trying to explain everything and them from having to type/write it out. It’s a win-win for everyone involved! I’ll definitely use this company again, if needed, and will recommend to others.

My parents have lived in the same house since the late 70’s. It’s safe to say they never threw anything away. Forty years of accumulated junk had piled up and we were looking for a junk removal company to help us, help my parents, take back their space. We called Bay Hauling after seeing great reviews on Yelp. My husband spoke to Brenda, who right away understood the sensitivity of the project. It was evident that they were highly experienced in these types of clean-ups with my parents having a difficult time letting go of many things.We had a very pleasant in-person estimate/quote done by the owner Juan. He was very easy to talk to, very thorough when answering our questions, and showed sensitivity and professionalism through the entire process. After learning Bay Hauling was a family owned local business in Benicia, CA, and after the kind interactions we had with Brenda and Jaun, we decided to move forward.Planning and locking down a date was also very easy. They were extremely accommodating and took every factor, from us living an hour drive away, to the man power needed for the job, into account. The crew that came for the clean up was also extremely kind, considerate, sensitive, and hard working. We had some minor demolition done in the garage with some old cabinets and junk clean up in the garage the backyard patio, and two small storage units in the backyard. During the clean up itself, there were times when my parents came out and had a difficult time letting go of certain items. The crew was very mindful, gave us time to sort through some things when needed, and stayed sensitive to the situation. The original estimate/quote that Jaun had originally advised was right on the money. We filled up 5 full truckloads. The job took a full day, starting at around 8AM to about 4PM. I cannot thank Juan, Brenda, and Shiloh (our main contacts for this job) enough for making this huge job as easy as possible. In a heartbeat, I would recommend Bay Hauling and I plan to use them again in the future.

I believe Bay Hauling was gone within 30min. They cleaned up all the small pieces of trash and debris before they left as well. I can’t even tell anything was in the shed before. Amazing job. Would recommend 100%.

If I could rate this company more than 5 stars I would! From the point of contact, i.e., setting up an estimate appointment to pick up of items, the process was seamless and easy. I was most impressed by their customer service – they are very responsive to your phone calls and questions. Despite getting a couple of estimates for this job, I went with Bay Hauling because of previous reviews and a competitive bid. They did not disappoint! The team that arrived to do the hauling was not only timely, they were efficient and courteous. I will no doubt be referring Bay Hauling for jobs to my family and friends. Without a doubt, they will be my go-to company as future projects arise.

Absolutely impressed with the professionalism and efficiency of Bay Hauling. We made our appointment for a quote. The guys showed up on time with a call letting us know they were on their way. It took all of fifteen minutes for them to provide the reasonable quote and to load the stuff up. I highly recommend this company for your hauling needs. We would have had to make multiple trips to get rid of our load. This saved us so much time and we did not have to hurt ourselves doing it.

Amazing fast service. I had a huuuge project I had put off for years that included clearing my entire back yard of furniture, random items, tires, etc as well as large pieces of furniture from the inside. Their prices were better than fair. If you saw the amount of stuff they took and the days of effort they saved me; you would know that I got the good end of the deal. I required 1 1/2 truck loads, which I chose to do over two consecutive weekends. They we’re able and willing to come the same day I called to schedule both times, so this is perfect if you need it done asap; however, for my schedule they were able to accommodate me by coming the dates and part of the days I requested. The employees were fast, friendly, and nonjudgmental regarding the task at hand. I highly suggest if you have a hauling project you have been putting off that these guys will take great care of you.

Called and spoke to Juan around 8am today. Easy to speak to and professional. Scheduled a same day appointment between 2pm and 5pm. Juan called and said they actually could come sooner so they arrived at 1pm. Juan with peo and Nash, they knocked out a half load in 30 mins. Great communicators, clean and do a great job. I called Bay Hauling after Got Junk came by and quoted me a price I felt was way to high for the few things I had. I found this company by luck, and gave them a call. I sent a picture of what I had and immediately was given a quote of 65$ less than what Got Junk wanted me to pay. They came the next day. Very nice and friendly staff. This is my new company to call from now on when I need junk removed. Great Job!

These guys were great! They were on time, fast and courteous. In addition to removing a large pile of accumulated stuff from my garage, they hauled two large desks and chairs up a flight stairs to their truck. The pricing was reasonable and they did a super job. I will use them again.

They arrived when they said they would for a quote, gave me a Very Good price, then had their guys there in less than 20 minutes to haul my stuff away! Even swept up the area when they were done! Excellent Choice!!Used them again to clear out the junk we were not moving with us. I called Bay Hauling and they had a tech come out that same day to give a quote and to set us up for an appointment 2 days later. Arrival window was between 10am-12pm and they got her at 9:30am and we’re done by 10:30! They did an amazing job. We have 1 more load to do and we will definitely book with them again, only reason why we didn’t want to do both loads on the same day is because we had my daughters birthday party planned that afternoon. I HUGHLY recommend Bay Hauling!

Just got done receiving services from Juan, Juan, and Ozzy. They were kind, professional, efficient, and very quick. They always double check to make sure they grabbed everything you wanted. Bay Hauling was reliable and cleared very heavy blocks of concrete from our yard. The workers were efficient, timely and hard working. We definitely recommend their services. Out of 5 providers we contacted, they were the most straight forward in providing a quote and actually doing the work. Some quoted 4 times more (1-800-JUNK) and others failed to show up for the work altogether. If they do other yard work, we’d love to work with them again.

I used Bay hauling today. They are very efficient, after leaving a message at noon. Juan returned my phone call almost immediately. He said he would have someone there before 5:00pm today. There driver arrived exactly at 4pm, Val and his team made the junk removal seamless. Just bunch of old tin, a BBQ, garden table, barrel and porch bench. They took care of where they walked and conscious of what they were taking. Prices were fair, they even priced lower than what I thought. Great Job Juan, Val and team. I well absolutely recommend you to family and friends!

My mom needed a loveseat and a couple other things junked. Called on Sunday afternoon and was able to get an appointment for the following Tuesday as requested. Spoke with Juan and he was able to give me a quote over the phone plus a $10 off first time customer discount. The day of pick up, Jorge and another employee came masked up and were in and out in less than 20 minutes. Quick and professional. We will definitely use them again!

The hauling team practiced safety by wearing masks and keeping a safe distance while clearing out the area. The hauling team was friendly and quick. Best service ever! Juan and his crew and quick to respond and very professional. Their rate is super reasonable. We had a little set back because one of my family members didn’t want to let go of a few things (even though we don’t need it anymore!) and they handled it well. Even carried it out of the junk pile for us since it was too heavy for me.The contractor on site who are working on our house was even impressed and wants to work with them on their present and future projects. I would definitely call Bay Hauling again and I would recommend them to anyone. Juan was professional and responsive from the first email. They confirmed my appointment and let me know they were on the way but I don’t think I was prepared for the level of professionalism and how courteous the staff would be. Everyone was so nice. They worked quickly all while communicating with me and then they cleaned up. I was just so pleased. The pricing was very affordable and easy to pay. Six stars!!

STOP! Do not look any further for an exceptional hauling company.The crew was professional, very quick and extremely accommodating. I had a very difficulty move and scheduling was difficult.
